For most of us, producing a carbon footprint is an unavoidable fact of life.  We have to drive, fly and heat and light our homes,  but by planting some oak trees on your behalf, we can help you off-set your carbon footprint. Whilst we hope this should make you feel a little less guilty about that foreign holiday or new car,  the UK will also gain another oak tree.

Every little helps....  and here's how...

Firstly it has been estimated that an oak tree absorbs about

22 kg of carbon each year - that compares with the 0.12 kg of carbon  produced each km travelled by the average  family car, and secondly as the oak woodland is the climax community of the British countryside, they provide a source of food and shelter for a large number of native wildlife species.
